  • Girls Gets Bullied, Becomes a Stormtrooper

    18 Jun 2014

    Allison-6-e1402936730186

This blog is about running (and soon to be about marketing of endurance gear), mainly.  But I also love to deal with stories of a sentimental nature, as you’ve maybe seen when I write about my dad or my sons.  I saw this story this morning in my Facebook feed and couldn’t help but share the links here.  We are being upworthied to death with tear-jerking stories and emotional appeals to help others.  Nothing wrong with that.  I just hope we don’t get so jaded by the click-bait sites like Upworthy or 22 Words that we miss genuine acts of kindness that deserve sharing.

    Here you go:

Aren’t You a Little Short to Be A Stormtrooper?

    4. On un-becoming a runner.  Good post from a guy who has seen life demands affect what he was.  I can identify a bit in terms of my long layoff from surgery and the quest to drop the few pounds gained from inactivity and return to my leaner, faster days.

    5. Trail runners and their tattoos
