    Five to the start the week:

    1. In retrospect, this was my experience. Wasn’t the shoes, but the volume and my weight (I ran in Asics Gel Nimbus for a 7 months pre-injury).

    2. The response to number 1

    3. Amen.

    4. This is why I’m not fond of “celebrity meet and greets.”

    5. Oh.  I thought the only solution was purchasing a 200 dollar saddle.

    (side note: if you are not into trail running, consider Western States to be the Trail Running equivalent for Ultra runners that Boston is for marathoners.  Mecca.  I once heard the race described as “mainstream” by someone who knew diddly.  Mainstream, my bald a$$)
